Don't Go Away

Thank you for all your comments on my last post, they were very much appreciated and have helped me see where I want to go with this blog. I will be back, refreshed, reinvigorated and full of ideas on the 1st of June.

In the meantime I'm posting pictures on Instagram  and wasting time on  Pinterest, you are more than welcome to join me. Don't go away.

  1. Sue, your instragram and Pinterest photographs are lovely. One of these days I may have to dip my toes in those waters, but for now I can barely manage to find blogging time.

Promise to be looking for you in June. Do enjoy all the refreshing in this lovely time of the year. xo

  4. Thank you for being frank about your blogging blahs. Some bloggers just stop posting without so much as a farewell. Please be encouraged.

    1. I don't know for certain as it was a present and there is no mark (I just lifted it up to look at the bottom and all the peony petals fell off!). I've looked at the John Leach website and it does look exactly like one of his pots.

    2. I see John Leach is Bernard Leach's grandson. Thank you for bringing the Muchelney pottery to my attention and teaching me something new. Thank you also to my mum who I think gave me the jug.

  12. On closer inspection I can see the word Muchelney stamped on the bottom, so in answer to your question, yes it is.

  14. I missed your last post, so glad to read you will 'be back soon'.

I'm wrestling with what to do with my blog at the moment too. I've changed and it needs to change to keep up with me. Easy to say, harder to do. But perhaps the same is true for you?

  15. I find that the moment I decide to take a break from blogging, the ideas come....maybe not very interesting ideas, and some that shouldn't be followed up, but they come! Hope to see you back soon.

  17. I am new to Pinterest but have dipped a pinky into your pins and see we have a lot of tastes in common.
I especially liked the Terry Macey clothes. Wish I'd known about her for my son's wedding. Do you know the OSKA brand?

  18. It's good to have a break now and then and come back refreshed. You're right that blogging should never be a chore and often some time away makes you remember what you enjoy about it. I hope you find that Sue and don't worry, we won't go anywhere x

  19. Hey, no pressure.... and don't feel committed to 1st June. We'll all be pleased to meet up again whenever! Meanwhile I have given my year-out-nearly-finished-not-done-as-much-paid-work-as-originally-envisaged son the RED STUFF recipe with a view to booking him in as cook once a week 'til September. See you soon, chill x
