Calendar

I'm really looking forward to next year.
I can't wait to start using my 2012 calendar.

These pictures are based on my monthly samplers which you can find on their own page under my banner picture. They aren't exactly the same as those pictures, some are, but most are new creations.
I make them using this tool
To make the calendar I used Vistaprint. They had a half-price offer last week and one calendar cost me £13.
As I was making it Vistaprint kept telling me my photos weren't of high enough resolution to print well. I decided to take a chance and see what happened. I'm glad I did because they have turned out really well. The paper is of good quality and really glossy.
I will certainly be ordering a few more calendars for Christmas presents and .........maybe a little Quince Tree giveaway. What do you think?

  6. That's a beautiful, beautiful calendar, Sue. I'd look forward to every month with its associated domestic promise and goodness. And, in your own case, it celebrates the past as well as calibrating the future; that's good going.

  7. What a great idea! Hubby has just had some books of family history/photos made, via an ad that was in the Sunday press. The first 'offer' size turned out so well that he ordered several A4 ones for Christmas presents. He had the same issue with being told that the resolution on some of the older, faded photos were not very good, but they've turned out brilliantly.
Even I have to admit that, sometimes, technology is wonderful!

    Hello!
I'm a fairly new reader to your blog, found it by accident and really enjoy it.
Beautiful calendar! It's given me an idea for the in-laws' Christmas present, thank you for saving me from a massive annual headache! My son studies photography, I will get him to take all the photos with his fancy gadgets.

Ps. regarding your previous post, I hate it when apostrophes are used wrong. I also hate it when companies give themselves names like 'kleen' or 'kwik', and they have 'solutions for all your needs',grr. And English isn't even my own language! (And my comment is probably full of spelling mistakes, ha ha.)

  31. Sue it is so beautiful.
The day I read this post I was thinking that I should invest in a really, really nice calendar (rather than waiting for a rubbishy one on the reduced shelf - yes I am that mean!)
But my thoughts had been I should make the effort and spend - as that calendar is there all year for all to see.
I was hopeful that you were going to say at the end of the post that you were selling some of yours...so sad you're not as I would gladly buy one.
