Just Now I Am......

Picking a few of my quinces. I shall bake them this weekend with lots of sugar and serve them with thick cream.

Getting used to cooking for four again now that George is back at university.

Enjoying the rugby world cup, The Pickwick Papers, and the lovely sunny weather we have been having lately.

Knitting a green shawl.

Having fun making a photo sampler for September. Regretting not making them from March to August.

Very glad to be blogging again. Hoping my enthusiasm doesn't wane.

  2. You could do recap samplers. Unless you stopped photographing as well as blogging.

  5. A lovely sampler, as ever. Your samplers punctuate the months for me. March to August was a confusing stream without them.

  6. I really like your photo sampler, someone needs to do a tutorial on how to do one.

  7. There's something quite voluptuous about those quinces, like a woman with curves. These ain't no string beans. Everyone deserves a sabbatical.

  8. PS, I love seeing light shining through leaves and flower petals, but find it very difficult to capture that special light in my photos. You nailed it.

  11. I missed your samplers too. What will you do for your calendar for 2016? And a tutorial on the sampler making be great.

  15. Sue, your list and your visual sampler do show a certain autumn mode. Wonder when I will find time to learn how to make those mosaics...of course, I have been wondering the same thing for a few years now....

It really is grand to have you back! xo

You may be surprised what may part of your everyday is something very interesting for your readers. I have never seen this fruit before. Long time ago I have tasted a piece of quince paste. It looks beautiful! Thank you!!
