Wow! that gorgeousJulie xxx
Zing! Must make your heart sing.
That is bloody gorgeous. Ax
Looks fabulous! I'm sure you are so pleased to get that gorgeous new flooring.
wow what a difference, does the vinyl feel warmer? We have tiles that are flipping freezing in the winter!
It does feel warmer than the tiles, looks warmer too!
Really lifts the room.....great choice ! X
Wow!! What an immediate transformation, it's made the kitchen sing out.I can see you loved the old floor so much you mopped away it's pattern ;-)
Yeah, mopping, my favourite thing to do :-)
A 'membrillo' floor, how perfect!
Oh that's fabulous, Sue. You must be really pleased after all this time!
Ooh la la! Could this be the gateway spend to a mini revamp (NOT that I'm saying anything needs it!!)'Mopped away the pattern' that's funny :)
Oh what a gorgeous floor! xx
Woohoo! Go girl! I so LOVE brave colour! Love it! X
That is one juicy floor! Gorgeous.Shauna.x
So that's where all the magic happens! Wonderful colour!!
Wow, it looks wonderful Sue....brilliant choice.Jacquie x
Sue, that cherry color is both chic and cheery, too. It's grand to see the actual room in which you create the fabulous dishes you show us. With my little closet of a kitchen, I admit to envying you that light and counter space and storage, as well. What a grand place!xo
I like it!
That looks great - there are few things as satisfying as new flooring. Seriously. It makes your kitchen look festive and Nordic. Enjoy!Sarah.
Sue, that floor is redekulously gorgeous.
Love that red floor. Totally inspired!
It is utterly fabulous. It's made it look like you've had a whole new kitchen.
It absolutely has!
Wit wooo x
Love it, love it, love it! But then, red is my favourite colour. Also, it's really nice to get a look at your kitchen. I'm one of those horrible house snoops who love to go out walking at dusk when people's lights are on but they haven't yet closed their curtains. That way I can peek into their homes and see what they look like.
What a difference!
Rad, man. I had the same reaction to some ugly paneling when we moved into the house, and it took me about the same length of time to do something about it. Life gets in the way. Well, would you have chosen this floor 17 years ago?
If I'd known where to find it then, yes!
It's gleaming and beautiful. Well worth waiting for. A very energising colour, red. You will be zipping round your kitchen with a new found enthusiasm. I love it.
Lovely colour. I do envy your big kitchen.
Beautiful! Also nice to see a view of the kitchen where you make all that fabulous food. Your honey & paprika grilled chicken is on the menu again the weekend--thanks!
Wow! It's festive and fabulous!! Pati x
Spectacular! It will feel very festive indeed in December and inspire you to new heights of culinary achievement.
Hi, looks absolutely gorgeous :-)Did you have to cover over the tiles with anything before laying the vinyl? we have cream coloured tiles that I hate and would love to cover the, with dark wood look alike vinyl many thanks Jane
Jane, that's a good question because we had a few flooring chaps come and look at our floor and one said we would need a layer of ply on top of our tiles in case their pattern 'bled through'. Another chap said that was very unlikely to happen with pale tiles and a red floor. We went with that chap as he was cheap!
Wow! That is a strikingly bold color! It is sure not for the faint of heart, or eyes! LOLI've had and loved red wall I've painted, but I would never have thought of having a red floor. It looks so fab!
Many thanks Sue,we had to lay ply on the bathroom floorboards but they were in a bad state but I was hoping to not have to in the kitchen, hopefully I can persuade hubby to change from the cold tiled floor to a warmer vinyl before the winter. Your kitchen is lovely by the way. jane
What a difference! Looks great. :)
Sue, that has sass! Very fabulous and worth the wait.
It's a smashing colour Sue....reminds me of my lunch (Heinz tomato soup)!xxxxxxxxxxx
