February Sampler

A side effect of not blogging much is not having enough photos to make a decent sampler at the end of the month. I scraped my paltry collection of February photos together  and came up with this but I don't think it is one of my best.

Time to think about March. There will be pancakes, a 14th birthday, Mothering Sunday, daffodils and a new book to read and best of all the clocks will go forward and spring will be well and truly here by the end of it. Fingers crossed.

  1. Looks good to me! I am very intrigued by the vinegar cake - perfect for those moments when the need to bake strikes but the china chicken in which the eggs live is empty. Happens quite often.

  2. Your sampler photos show all the promise of Spring....most welcome as it pours down here in Suffolk. Keep flexing those blogging muscles, the old faithfuls are often the best, especially with the odd chemistry lesson. Just starting the Outcast Dead too.

    1. Hope you enjoy it Niki. It's very much in the same vein as her previous ruth Galloway books, but none the worse for that.

  4. Ooh, yes! It's that time of year when it seems there's much to look forward to. As for the sampler... it looks good to me, especially with all those lovely things to eat. I take tons of photos but to be honest they all look a bit dull at this time of year anyway because of the poor light.

  12. It's still a good sampler though. Washing on the line, cake, flowers and other daily joys are never to be underestimated. x
