Unless otherwise stated all photography is my own. You are more than welcome to link to my posts, but please don't use my words or pictures without asking first. Stealing is not nice.
I love this post Sue, for some reason it reminded me of Shirley Hughes 'Old shoes, new shoes, bright shiny blue shoes'. Not sure why, perhaps the rhythm of your words or the fact that my brain is a bit crazy at the moment. Anyway you have brightened my day xxx
Gorgeous colours and lovely little wreaths. I remember the 'Old shoes, new shoes' book from Shirley Hughes - haven't thought of that for ages! The garlands really are brilliant!
Lovely pics as usual! I was thinking of your mosaics and thought that you could turn them into cards, one for each month of the year in a pack of 12 and sell them. Wouldn't that be lovely? x Pati
Sunday. Like new page layout Sue. You seem to have a knack for bright, vivid, bold photos and the new layout actually makes the photos 'zing' more than ever. Much appreciated on another hazy, dull day!
Please bring back the old format with the pictures of quinces and everything centered! This new format makes it look like all the other blogs out there.
What a lovely zingy post, and the rose hip garlands are especially beautiful. I shall set my daughters to work on making them.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you fancied a bit of colour in your life today, Sue. Love your little rosehip garland - such a beautiful colour.
ReplyDeleteDear Sue
ReplyDeleteLovely bright and zingy colours for a lovely late summer/early autumn day.
The garlands are beautiful.
Best wishes
Ellie
Bright and beautiful! Love the blue glass vase - I have a collection of blue glass items started with a wine bottle a friend was chucking out!
ReplyDeleteLovely! I've added florist's wire to today's shopping list!
ReplyDeleteThat's brightened up my day, Sue.
ReplyDeleteThey're lovely Sue. How long will the garlands last? They'd be great to use at Christmas too.
ReplyDeleteFirst time I've made them, but I'm not expecting them to last long as the crab apples are already bruised.

Well I do have a lot of hips and the thought did cross my mind....
DeleteGorgeous blue vase and yellow flowers shot. I love the first one with the blue shadow! Fun to make rose-hip wreaths!

ReplyDeleteNo, sorry, not doing that. I like my new theme, I wouldn't have chosen it otherwise.
DeleteA cheerful post with lovely colour. No Crab Apples here at all this year. Never mind, I still have some of the jelly with chilli to use up.
ReplyDeleteOh. Utterly beautiful Sue. You've inspired me with your little berry garlands
