Torpor

Torpor.n. A state of mental or physical inactivity.
As the stinkingcold slowly dries up (thank you for your concern by the way) I find myself disinclined to take photographs or to sit down and write stuff.
Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible, meanwhile here is January's sampler.

I don't think your mental state is in torpor, you still are quick with your wit. Looking forward to normal service Sue, take care and stay slowed down for a while.

  9. I love your samplers. They make me feel peacefully full of wellbeing, a state that is the white sheep cousin of torpor.

  13. A beautiful collection of images for January! - they say it all. I am new to your blog (and blogging) and really looking forward to a good read. I love to cook with quinces whenever I can get hold of them (crab apple and quince jelly last year)- their aroma has to be one of my favourite perfumes.

    Best wishes,
    Bev
