Blue Birthday

Thursday, 1 December 2011

Last year was a white one; this year has been a blue one.

As well as this beautiful little Bristol Blue glass vase there has been

chocolate (my children do their shopping at Tesco),

things to read, to watch and to listen to,

and this year's advent calendar.
There was also a lovely lunch and there will be cake and wine later.
And I won a giveaway!
So I'm happy.

  4. Happy Birthday, Sue! What a fine-sounding birthday you've had.

Children who buy chocolate for a present have been very well brought up indeed.

  9. I remember reading about those, aren't they smashing? The originals had a square grater with a tea light in it too, you could extend your street like that.

    Lucky you!

  18. Happy Birthday!
I was given a very similar vase when I left teaching to have the first of many babies, it's always been one of my favourites.
At least the kids got you the good chocolate and not Tesco's own value stuff!
