  3. Lovely sampler! I enjoyed North & South very much (I have to confess watching it initially only because Richard Armitage was in it!!). What's the gadget, is it some sort of pedometer?

  10. Hi Sue, your sampler is looking very pretty - lovely fresh spring colours.

Glad to hear you enjoyed N&S, is there a woman alive who could refuse to go home with Mr Thornton as played by RA at the end?!

  11. I love my Omron - it is the best pedometer I have every had. I have clocked hundreds and hundreds of miles and steps. Took it to Paris, Rio, London.............
I have almost dropped it down numerous loos but it is still going strong.

Love all your pix, but especially love RA in North & South; just the ticket for a rainy, cold afternoon of ironing in sunny (not!) Sydney!! Sigh ...

  19. Beautiful photos - really cheerful. After trying many inferior/inaccurate pedometers I also settled on this one a couple of years ago and I love it. It's a great incentive. Enjoy your walks!

Sue, what a lovely sampler (as usual!). We are in June now (can't believe how fast this year is going) and hopefully baby number 3 will "pop" out soon (fingers crossed!). Our bank holiday was lovely, we did a lot of crafting as a family, nice food eating, film watching, walking and relaxing...great! I hope you are enjoying the half term too. x Pati

  23. Ooooh I loved North & South when it was on the box. Adored him, got irritated by her but it was ever so worth it.

Not an elderflower out up here yet, and we're not all that far away. Odd.

Your lentil salad looks delicious. Might give that a whirl. Thanks, enjoyed all your beautiful photos as ever.
    Have a lovely weekend.
    Steph
