Yellow Roses

Monday, 7 June 2010

This beautiful yellow rose is scrambling all over my roof. I love it, is flowers continuously through the summer.

What its name is I don't know. If anyone can identitfy it I'd be grateful.

  4. Lovely pics, but don't know the name. I can't even identify flowers in my own photos, even though there was probably a label just centimetres away!

  5. I love the look of your rambling rose, though I haven't got the foggiest idea what it's called.

When did you do your '50 things about me' page? Did you have fun doing it? I think I could have listed 200 things on mine, but thought folk would get bored :0)

Lovely rose, I think it could be called May Gold. This was my grandmother's maiden name so has always been a favourite of mine.

  8. Your 50 things are brilliant Sue. I read the list with a big smile, good to know more of the real you. Aren't the Harry Potter stories soooo good, especially when read by Mr. Fry. I remember listening to them in the car on trips to Aberdeen from here which always used to seem ages when the children were small. The rose pictures are beautiful, you can almost smell the flowers. Sorry don't know what it is called though.

  10. Jill, I did my 50 things page straight after reading yours! I stole your idea because it was such a good one, you don't mind do you?

Cathleen I used to have a Graham Thomas and it isn't that, wrong sort of yellow and as you say they don't climb.

Bella, I'll check out some pics of May Gold. How lovely to have a name that is also a rose :o)
